Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center/Betty Strong Encounter Center
The Lewis & Clark Expedition was one of America’s greatest road trips. The Center commemorates the journey with hands-on exhibits, programs and activities focusing on the explorers’ time in Siouxland. The road trip continues with stories of the past, present and possible future of Siouxland’s diverse people and natural resources. Encounters include an outdoor exhibit of life-sized bronze animal sculptures, the “Changing River” and photo exhibits on Native cultures, rural themes and nature.
