The mission of Morningside University, est. in 1894 by the Methodist Episcopal Church, is to cultivate a passion for life-long learning and dedication to ethical leadership and civic responsibility. Morningside sponsors numerous events, including concerts, lecture series, art exhibits and more- virtually open to the public. The 41 acre campus is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
